This business is all about duplication. As you build your team by following this system, your goal is to teach every agent that you enroll to do the same. If you violate these simple laws of duplication it will cost you time as well as money!

Inoculation:
Is this a pyramid? No, it is not because:
  1. Pyramids are illegal. We are a legal publicly traded company that has been approved by the SEC.
  2. Pyramids are illegal because it is built upon individuals who convince people to put money in a pool for an opportunity to make more money than they invested, while not offering them a product or service of comparable value.
  3. We don’t receive commissions for recruiting people, commissions are paid to you when you sell someone a travel store.

Set realistic goals and find your why:
1. This is a 2-5 five year success journey. (2-5 year success grid).
2. This is not a perfect business. Things will go wrong.
3. People quit, not on you, but on themselves.
4. There will be some days that you could almost swear that someone called a special meeting and said, "Today we have called this special meeting to do everything that we can possibly do to put you out of business, make you cry and make you quit. You are going to say “let me just be average, go back to my average routine, my average job, just give me my average pay and let me enjoy my average life.”

Our Business Model
Our model is built on relationships. We are not trying to guarantee the rock bottom, low price every time someone books on our site. We just need to be competitive with all the other sites, and we are. For example: everyday Expedia loses customers to one of the other travel search engines, but they also beat the prices of thousands of other bookings everyday as well. This is your business. You are the CEO.

First Things First
Make sure you complete your RTA Credentials application. Although you will receive this form in your travel starter kit, you can download this form from your back office site. Just go to your www.ytb.com/yourtravel. Put in your username and password to log in. Go to the top of page and click on downloads. Click on the application and print it out. Send this off with a passport-sized picture (one for you and one for secondary applicant). Send via next-day mail.

Secure a Personal Domain Name and Forward to Your YTB Web Site

Your YTB web site has a long URL or web site address (http://www.ytbtravel.com/yourusername). Purchase your own domain name to turn it into an easy-to-remember domain name like www.travelworldwide.com). TeamVision recommends you use BoomBabyWeb for your domain name registration. Go to www.BoomBabyWeb.com, register your unique domain have it automatically forwarded to your YTB web site.

 

Attend Certification Training

Attend the RTA certification training. (Look on your back office for the next Certification near you). Remember your start date and make sure that your account always has the $49.95 hosting available when the draft date comes around. (This is very important) Always make sure that you have a "Y" next to your name on your genealogy in the back office.

Make Your List
Start making your list of prospects. When making your prospect list, here are three important things to remember:
1. Recruit up
2. Recruit people with a circle of influence
3. Recruit self starters, go getters and leaders.
4. People who had success operating their own business
5. People who are leaders in their church congregation

You Must Bring Qualified Prospects to the table
Before you bring any prospect to a grand opening travel party, hotel meeting or get them in front of your sponsor, you must first qualify them. Put them on the 5-minute sizzle call or send them to your back office to see the online presentation.

This is what you will say, “Hello John, this is Larry, I have to be somewhere in an hour, do you have five minutes?" If they say yes, then you say, “Great, listen to this.” Then three-way them into the sizzle call at 646-222-0048. Then you immediately ask them, “What did you like best about what you just heard?" Let them tell you, then you say, “On a scale of 1-10, where do you see yourself with one being - you don’t have any interest; and 10 being  - you see yourself getting involved”. If they say anything less than a 7 you say, “Okay great, right now, because of the magnitude and the timing of the opportunity with this company, I need to only work with people who are a 7 or above." “But from time to time I have great travel deals and steals that pop up on my site; and with your permission, I would love to keep you informed. What’s your email address?" Then add their email address to your ATM. If they say 7 or above, you say: “Okay great. I have a business partner named (___). He or she has been with YTB travel a lot longer than I, and has had incredible success with the company. If I can arrange a time to get him/her on the line for about five minutes to explain a little more about the business would that be okay?" Then call your sponsor or power team leader. Give some background info about your prospect and arrange a time for the three-way call. (Have them block out a window of time for you to call them with your prospect on the line.)

Then you call your prospect and make sure they're ready to do the three-way. When you get them on the line, tell them to hold on and then click over to call your sponsor or power team leader. When your power team leader picks up the line, you say: Hi ( Mr./Ms. Power team leaders), this is John, I have (Name of prospect) on the line, He/she has been on the sizzle call and has rated himself/herself a seven on the level of interest. (prospect) this is (insert Power team leaders name).

He/she has been extremely successful with our company and on her/his way straight to the top of this company. John, this is Mr. Power team leader. Then you don’t speak for the rest of the call. The Power team leader will take it from there. They will say, "John I understand that you have been speaking with ________ about the business, what do you like best about what you’ve heard?" When they answer, the Power team leader will then say: That’s great. That’s what I like best too. Do you have any other questions? Do you see an opportunity for yourself with this company? If they need additional exposures to the business: Put them on the www.ytb.com/yourtravelstore site. Invite them to the hotel briefing (they are now a qualified prospect).

How To Do A Grand Opening
1. Invite those prospects that you have qualified to your home to see a presentation about the business.
2. Your sponsor or power team leader can host your travel party if they live in the area.
3. Have light refreshments.
4. Do not re-arrange your future. Keep everything as normal.
5. Do not try to camouflage your travel party to be anything else.
6. Do not dilute your grand opening with alcohol, dancing and partying. Keep the main thing the main thing. (Make money in your business).
At the end of the grand opening, your sponsor will take questions. Then they will ask everyone what they liked best about what they have seen. Then the sponsor will ask everyone if they see an opportunity for themselves.
Next, your sponsor will ask you to pass out applications to everyone in the room. Your sponsor/powerteam leader will go over the application and ask everyone to get started. Those who sign up will be asked to go ahead and give dates for their first grand opening/travel party. Make sure you have a sign up sheet designed to put the travel party dates on the calendar.

How To Do A Plug & Play Grand Opening Travel Party
1. Make sure you have a speaker phone in the room.
Open up with a quick introduction. Introduce yourself and thank everyone for coming.
Let them know that you are excited about showing them how to travel for pennies on the dollars while saving on their taxes.
2. Pop in the YTB DVD and let your prospects watch.
3. At the conclusion of the DVD, dial up your sponsor or power team leader on your speaker phone.
4. Your sponsor will get the names of everyone in the room and take questions over the phone.
5. Then they will ask everyone what they like best about what they have seen. Then the sponsor will ask everyone if they see an opportunity for themselves.
6. Over the phone, your sponsor will ask you to pass out applications to everyone in the room. Your sponsor/powerteam leader will go over the application and ask everyone to get started.
Those who sign up will be asked to go ahead and give dates for their first Grand Opening/travel Party.
7. Make sure you have a sign up sheet designed to put the travel party dates on the calendar.
